Chinese Garden, Singapore

If you just want to sit around, have picnic with your friends, date with your special someone, view relaxing sceneries, and take some nice pictures then this is the right place for you.  Plus, you do not have to spend too much because in just S$10 (Php350) you can buy some snacks and drinks and share it with 2-3 friends!

The Chinese Garden

July 3, 2011, I never thought that I would enjoy this place.  At first, I did not want to come because I was expecting to see lots of people wandering there.   But since I don’t want to be called ‘KJ’ (Kill Joy) then I decided to go with them.

I was partially right! There were many people BUT the garden is too wide that all of you can have your own territory to stay with.  It was not crowded and you wouldn’t get irritated.

Our Territory

Staying there was very relaxing.  We had a picnic and some chats while having a nice view of the place.  We sat behind a big rock where we placed our stuffs on it and we were in front of the river.   Very nice!
After that, we walked around and took pictures with the nature.  It’s a good place for ‘pictorial’ – model shots, environmental shots, and pre-nup shots!  There were nice bridges, gazebo, zodiac animal statues, and pagoda where you can go up by spiral stairs and view the place from the top.

If you’re planning to go there to have picnic, I would suggest bringing a mat if you are too prissy.  But, it’s more fun sitting on the grass and feeling you’re one with the nature. :)
